An women old age home has been operated at district- Balarampur in association with the National Competitive and Training Institute
An old age home has been successfully established at Balrampur with the support and management of the National Competitive Training Institute (NCTI). This initiative has been taken to provide shelter, care, and a peaceful environment for elderly citizens who are in need. The institute is committed to extending its services beyond education and training, contributing to social welfare activities. The old age home aims to ensure dignity, respect, and quality living for the senior members of our society.
The establishment of the Old Age Home at Balgampul has resulted in significant positive outcomes for the local elderly community. The initiative has not only provided physical shelter but also emotional and social support to the elderly residents.
Shelter and Care: Safe and comfortable accommodation was arranged for 20 elderly citizens in the initial phase.
Healthcare Services: Regular medical check-ups and basic healthcare facilities were made available to all residents.
Nutritional Support: Daily meals and nutritional diets were provided, maintaining the health and well-being of the elderly.
Recreational Activities: Cultural programs, yoga sessions, and group activities were organized to promote a joyful and engaging environment.
Social Inclusion: The project helped reduce social isolation by encouraging community visits and interaction programs.
Volunteering Opportunities: Created volunteering and social service opportunities for youth and students of NCTI.
The project successfully uplifted the lives of underprivileged senior citizens and promoted a message of care, respect, and responsibility towards the elderly in society. It also enhanced NCTI’s contribution towards community welfare beyond education and training.
